Why Insta Sisig is my new favorite

Why Insta Sisig is my new favorite

I finally found my new favorite sisig here in Insta Sisig, Pasig!

Known as a Filipino favorite, I too, am a certified sisig lover. I can actually eat it every day and still crave for it. But did you know that you can actually experience a good sisig without going to expensive grilled restaurants or bars?

Here I will introduce to you what could be your new favorite sisig place. Iโ€™ve been to different restaurants or fast foods but among those Iโ€™ve tried, this one is my fave so far.

Let me tell you why.

While food-hunting in Pasig, we deviated from our usual expensive food and restaurant hopping (serves something that will look good on instagram) and instead looked for a budget-friendly dinner for me and my food buddy, Jason.

So if youโ€™ve been to Pasig, Kapitolyo is considered its most famous food center but there are actually other food hubs in the city. We found Insta Sisig as one of the food kiosk inside Street Food Plaza located in front of Immaculate Concepcion Parish Church and beside the park.

So here is what I like most about Insta-sisig

-All sisig meals (pork, chicken and burrito) that we tried are lip-smacking

-Their sisig is also loaded with ground crispy chicharon which also adds to its flavorful taste. You can ask for additional chili pepper and kalamansi for free.ย  You can never go wrong with kalamansi!

-There is variety

-Their servings are big but you will definitely ask for extra rice

-It is budget-friendly (definitely pang-masa)

-The food presentation is beautiful and the place is clean

-It is accessible (just located near the parks and the church)

Their best seller, pork sisig!
Look how affordable their meals are!

Aside from sisig meals, you can also order Nachos and chicken nuggets.

But what came as a surprise is the sisig burrito which at first I found weird but became an instant favorite after trying it. Wrapped with a thin and soft burrito wrapper, the sisig is mixed with cucumber, tomato and lettuce. Yummy! And what makes it so extraordinary is that one order can already serve two persons because the serving is so big.

Insta Sisig, by the way, has two branches. If you want to experience it yourself, here are the locations.

Pasig: Street Food Plaza, Brgy. San Jose, Pasig Ciy

Cavite: Lotus Mall, Imus Cavite
